I'm Joshua (Minjay) Kim, a Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, graduating in 2027. I like the layer most people never have to think about: where data lives, how it moves, and how fresh it is by the time someone reads it.
I'm on the Platform team at Radar in New York, primarily working on an internal key-value store in Rust. Before that, I spent a year on Shopify's streaming infrastructure team, where I worked on the real-time ingestion behind metafields in Analytics.
